Most of us don’t feel like miracles. We feel tired. We feel unsure. We feel like we’re just barely holding it together some days. But recovery teaches us something powerful: the miracle isn’t that life became perfect — the miracle is that we’re still here, sober, honest, and willing.
We didn’t arrive in recovery strong. We arrived broken, exhausted, and out of options. And yet, somehow, here we are — breathing, showing up, learning, and changing. Not because we figured it all out, but because we stayed.
In today’s Daily Trudge, we talk about:
- Why miracles don’t always feel miraculous
- The quiet miracle of staying sober one more day
- How survival turns into transformation
- Why being here is already evidence of change
- The difference between ego-based miracles and grace-based ones
- Why newcomers don’t need to feel special to be saved
- How willingness matters more than confidence
We aren’t miracles because we’re perfect.
We’re miracles because we’re alive, sober, and still trying.
If you’re here today — confused, struggling, or unsure — that alone matters. Stay. Sometimes the miracle is simply not leaving.
No one trudges alone.
